This poem appears on page 46 of the book Water (Editorial Torremozas, 2010), written by Silvia Castro Méndez, and has been recognized with the Echeverría Achilles Poetry Award 2010 in Costa Rica, the country home of Silvia Castro.

I know I look like I've said on the occasion, but not going to stop saying it because I think: Water is a very good book. Silvia shows a strength of thought, a poetic construction ability and opportunity to manage frankly remarkable eloquence.

I know it will feel that the prize that the book has received, as well. But a few days ago - even months-I wanted to bring this blog a poem Water. As it came to nothing, since the events I throw up (happens to me all the time yet). The important thing (besides Silvia book itself) is the event: they have been awarded literary prize important country, Echeverria Achilles Award 2010 for this book. And for Zaragoza's another important thing is that she, Silvia Castro, lives among us now, although she is so discreet that you never stop to notice.

I put several links as well:

A Kid At Shool Touched My Boob

fabling: Banda

Obstruct the entrance. Close
space.
Lock the door.
establish a new measure between the wall and us. Becoming
slowly, very slowly, three times slower. Top
the top to see the empty hallways, the earth, far
blocked the memory of our barbaric deed.
Art has died and his shadow lingers as a balm for the sick
sacred.
Everything is soft and dangerous as a flood. Becoming
slowly, very slowly, three times slower. Slow
like a flood. Slow like a dream.

(Reading these days: Piglia, Burroughs, Twelve, Kropotkin has led me Piglia-Gascón, and magazines and Plensa, and Plensa: Plensa question helps me also to breath - these days so exhaustingly doomed to almost pathological hyperactivity - and do not speak of others)

Magnificent song.

(There are a few composers music and crushed by the acrid stench of dictatorship and unknown to past generations to which we may return, heard more something like in "It All Starts Today", Radio 3) -

of songs like this I would never have separated.

All the lies that I owe

The next Wednesday, January 19, will be the presentation of the poetry book "All I owe you the Lies "( Eclipsed , 2011), from Fernando Sarria . The staging of delivery shall be carried out also of the author and his publisher (Ignacio Escuín ), two Alfredos: Alfredo Saldaña, essentially a poet (if not essential) and university professor, and Alfredo Moreno , knowledgeable film buff, incredulous narrator.

Four men (very different) for a title (pretty universal).

Zaragoza there a bar in the corner opposite the Teatro Principal (prefer another name for this magnificent theater, it now is a name too nineteenth century, too bourgeois, is a name as an official of the palace - there are things No matter what changes, no matter how historical they are),

a bar on that corner Coso talked the other night where the author of "All the lies ..." and one of its presenters, the incredulous narrator, Alfredo Moreno, and myself, as part of that first person plural

(is disturbing is how to conjugate verbs: in person / vision gilbiedmaniana / - how many people by verb, how many verbs for each person? who and what each person? and plural person exist?, singular or what serves the verb alone?, well ... I deviate from that said Mayor David ... / I deviate much lately at all times)

take up again: we talked about the book, the events that have surrounded other vicissitudes, and above all we talked about TV series. Everyone (or almost) comes to television series lately, and I think that's my very good, because part of my life has been television. In that bar - opposite the Theatre-talked about everything from old series, perhaps because the bar has a retro profile.

Maybe we talked about TV series since "All the lies ..." holds and displays a very television poetry (very dramatic, actually). I say no more.

When they been lit "All the lies ...", so maybe we can talk more - or perhaps we should not (the lie may be best to always let her breathe in your scenario)

--- yesterday (still today for me), Sunday, I read the poem that the sculptor Jaume Plensa dedicated to the death of Eduardo Chillida quote from Marlen Haushofer:

"... I can afford to write the truth. All of those I lied in my life are dead ...",

Jaume Plensa, Shadows and texts 1990-2007 (Galaxia Gutenberg, 2008)

All the truths I must .... then be entitled to-book, I say (write). But now: grabadlo on their foreheads:

On Wednesday / January 19 / FNAC Plaza of Spain - Zaragoza: All the lies that you owe, Fernando Sarria (Eclipse) Escuín Ignacio accompanied by Alfredo Saldaña and Alfredo Moreno-

Entropía/14 Symptoms: tontines

This morning a driving Dopey me looking ugly gesture made by the rearview mirror. We'd just stop at a stoplight and I confess that, just at the moment the ugly gesture, I yawned, not an intentional one, really - but I found very timely feedback from my sympathetic nervous system.

A minute before that had happened is that the driver seemed to pounce on Dopey my poor car, the car of Dopey was almost surpassing the lane demarcation line and I have open arms: eh, I'm here!, my gesture meant.

Dopey
wanted to change lanes, of course. I used to think that when one wants to change lanes, you should intermittently teaches his neighbor (well, here in Spain, I meant: in Italy, for example, regulates other matters). For some time I've watched that also here (in my city, say) and no, I'm out of step: now when you want to change lanes, go careening on its neighbors for eggs until they move, or forced to stop mistimed, or whatever. Of course, the reason that this happens (not excuse) may be that nobody pays any attention to the indicators or let another car "brew" in front of own when it is a nerd with flashing up:

are many tontines the wheel and (sorry, my dear men) are more numerous male tontines.

Dopey
understand here that believes that human specimen basically two things: one, that he and his car is always cool and basically priority of Paraguay (this might be tolerable), and two (which is really worrying) that others have developed and our very feasible in the future only telepathic ability to guess their wishes and intentions and serve them accordingly (in Italy, at least, they all shout or gesticulate warning of their intentions and as such there everyone knows that anything goes, the general voceglerío is mostly a staging, and since there is consensus in the forms can not be considered tontines exist, in any case there are cheeky , fun genre at least).

Apart from the tontines bore me (to go or not driving), meant that bothers me (among other symptoms of entropy) think this is not an obligation and responsibility (but what I have written responsibility?, will I know what I mean by the concept?) of each individual the proper use of language that others to understand and by the listener escaparrar do not send the first change that gives the explanation. No cohesion, no community without language. And now we might as well start thinking about it. Sounds archaic this rant? I do not mind. It is pure physics and pure group dynamics. And if you pressed me, I will state that it is smart to live pure elegance. Something of which generally lack the tontine.

Wording For Guest Pays For Own Meal

Entropía/13 Symptoms: dead birds Banda

admit that when I heard / read it / saw the first news about dead birds in Arkansas, Louisiana, Sweden remembered, like most people talked about it on the Web, Flashforwad series. He called me almost more attention this forwad-match the actual event itself. As it works now our mental references.

Then I searched through Google, in a somewhat random, issues and concepts that could be chained to that of the rain of dead birds, thinking that they actually show a vis downright apocalyptic. I thought that after thinking it over would have a post in the series "Symptoms of entropy." And so perhaps it could be. But I've been around the bush too: I read books on chaos (mathematical theory) and the financial system on the financial system and its deviations from the liberalization of foreign contributions in the years 70 (drifts that have brought us these oceans today's critics, of course) on the Apocalypse of St. John, on accelerating the movement of the magnetic pole and I've read a few poems (Cernuda, Lorca, Juan Ramón, Neruda ...) because the metaphor of the dead bird has been widely used by poets.

really for a Greek or Roman rain of dead birds would be a very bad omen. And if you join the death of the birds (also now in Mexico and Italy, it is known) of fishes and crustaceans, the omen would be black, very black (which says the Tarot). So, please give me an explanation that leads me to believe that the explainers think I'm stupid.

did not know (I admit) the work of sculptor Amancio González. A dead bird is to blame for that has been discovered (an aesthetic derived from my search). It turns out that the web of Amancio Gonzalez is a poem Gamoneda frontispiece. But what has impressed me is his work. And not just the most sculpture holding a dead bird in hand (I found the website of the sculptor through the photograph of that sculpture). From what I observed, Amancio Gonzalez melts figuration and abstraction (sometimes through figuration itself) and narrative sense to conceptual expression and outcome (stone, wood, bronze or iron) is an art of the strength of the pure expression: presence of presence. Very impressive.

Iron and bronze. Garden Plaza del Cid. Lion.

Though not the work that most I like of which I have seen on the website of Amancio Gonzalez, bring it because I felt great empathy when I have seen, as if that figure were located at the height of my stomach. And so finally this post itself is a symptom of entropy.

The way we have done I found very cool that appear to be images of a children's book in which a very basic English and use of pictures are an innovative way to reach a wider audience, since even the immigrants who know a little bit of English can understand more or less concerned.

After the excellent (and brutal) Sukkwand Island (holography literary David Vann), seeking comments and criticisms. Few meet me. In the text of Vann am especially guilt and loneliness (the two emotions that perhaps more directly can push human beings to insanity). So Vann's prose is direct contact. No gimmicks. Which I do not know if it's good or not. But it is not something I want to solve now.
During the subsequent mental rereading I was reminded of this scene:

Raise Ravens (Carlos Saura, 1975).

Why did you leave? (Jeanette) is important part of the soundtrack of my memory, but I can not separate it from the movie.
