I heard this morning on the radio (in the morning the radio is often the most appropriate media for me) they'll come back to shoot a new version of the classic and quasi-mythical British series of the seventies Upstairs, Downstairs ( Up and down when it aired on TVE). Imagine all the many strengths of the series at the level of script, actors, stage increased with the power of current technology. Would be great.
alchemy in that series was almost perfect: the components (background history, daily life, emotional intrigue, stylistic care, quality acting, excellent direction) were measured to the point, wisely mixed and interrelated.
addition, at this time the climate of change and transformation of uncertainty that cements the scripts can find a very suitable reception to the public. Although very different in scope, that principle of the last century - during which time lag the series (1903-1930) - and now that we already share a few things, probably why the producers have thought about the reissue. See if you do not annoy (I say with the new version of the series: that with everything else already done).
